After a rigorous application and interview process and weeks of patiently waiting, Influence & Co. founders John Hall and Kelsey Meyer attended the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year black-tie gala in Kansas City, Missouri, last week to honor and celebrate finalists and announce winners in each category.
Out of more than 20 finalists across the states of Kansas and Missouri, John and Kelsey took home the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award for Best Emerging Company in the central Midwest region — and our team could not be more proud.

The award recognizes entrepreneurs who "demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities."
“EY has had a tremendous history in honoring outstanding entrepreneurs during the past 30 years,” said Dave Anderson, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program director for the central Midwest. “This year’s winners have not only taken their companies to the top, but they have also acted as mentors to their employees and made impressive contributions to their communities.”
Influence & Co. is one of seven companies whose leaders were awarded prestigious honors at last week’s gala. These entrepreneurs were selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of previous EY Entrepreneur Of The Year winners, leading CEOs, private capital investors, and other regional business leaders.
As winners at the regional level, John and Kelsey are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year national program in California in November.

I love cloudy days, office supplies, and rewatching the same sitcoms I've already seen a dozen times. When I'm not looking for ways to elevate content, I'm looking for opportunities to tell stories about my dog.
